Bone density an issue in those treating Autism naturally

A recent article in ScienceDaily.com reveals important information to those treating autism or autistic children by avoiding dairy products.
Research indicates that autistic children & teens following diets which limit casein, a dairy protein, have a measurably lower density in their bones than those who do not. This can be attributed to calcium & vitamin D which are present in milk products.

It is prudent for those who are on a dairy-free approach to treating autism to carefully program their diets, or consider nutritional supplements to ensure well rounded nutrient intake to prevent low bone density.
